First of all ...imma beginner to wii modding so if i missed something tell me please!!!....I used This guide Modding guide to mod and update to 4.2E...then i installed some Ios&Cios...and of course i found out that any other region than pal wont work after i updated so i got gecko os and ran my ntsc games...but since i got my wii im having a prob running burned Isos ...I wasted above 100 DVDs and searched many forums but still no solution to run burned games..Everytime i run them on neogamma,gecko os and normally from disk channel ..but the thing is my old pirated games i got from friends is working normally...pal ones running good from disk channel and other regions from gecko os....Please i need some help with this prob ...i tried with many games and i cant play em.

Just move on to USB loading, save yourself another 100 blank disks =)

First, try to get the newest version of NeoGamma, then in "Options", go to "Wii Options" then change "Force Video" to "Wii". That should force NeoGamma to load the burned NTSC games as PAL. But remember, the discs that games are burned on must be DVD-R (NOT DVD+R or any other type of dvd) and the write speed must be x4. Try using ImgBurn to burn your ISO's to DVD-R's.

Im pretty sure you can use DVD+R too iif you change the booktype to dvd-r using imgburn.

I think it's DVD-ROM.

I think one general estimate of write speed is half of the max speed written on the dvd. So if it supports up to 16x write speed, burn it at 8x.

Well about the DvD-r/+r i have a friend who has his wii bricked and gave me all of his games....some of them are DvD + R...when i burn games with dvd+r in nero it automaticaly book them for Dvd-rom....
Well im using Gecko os and ill try the force wii thingie...but does neogamma run games if they were ntsc and my wii pal....and shall i use friiregion or anything else....im trying to play SMG2..i got the ntsc one.

How old is your Wii, new Wii consoles cannot read backup discs AT ALL.

I bought it like last year or smth ...I tried neogamma it takes 2 mins then it give me some error with the settings u said.

do other backups work out? like the ones burned by your bricked friend?

if so, your dvd burner is bad (mine hates wii but loves Xbox)

i tried on my bro lap and burned at 2.4x but now whenever i enter the dvd ...the wii comes up with error

Ive managed to get games read on neogamma but it comes up with green screen any solution to this or requirements to do...???
