Evreybody votes channel region error

I installed Riiconect24 and evreything else seems to work but Whenever I open the evreybody votes channel it says "Set the region where you live." And I press "OK".
After that it says "Unable to confirm region settings. Return to Wii Options and preform a Wii system update. You will now return to the Wii Menu."

My wii is on the latest version and my region is set to USA.

Are you sure you installed everything regarding RC24? You are connected to WiFi, right?

Yes I'm connected to wifi

I found out when I select "Country" in the wii settings it gives me this error, not sure if this has to do with it or not

Good Morning.

Did you have the RiiConnect EULA confirmed like the Guide said ?
Please try set your Wii to another English Country / Land / Place and Wii Language to English (if you do not try that already).
