I actually have money and I don't make any excuses :')

Also, if your eshop uses US dollars you can just buy some Eshop credit online and use PayPal or whatever, so you don't even need a credit card.

The game is really lovely, shame you can't play it.

I kind know you now. BTW, there is a version of region free from EUR in the ***ISO site which you can try and kill time for US version, as I am waiting too.

For anyone who pirated the EU version but then bought the US version, can you transfer the save data from EU to US?

You could try, i have done it with japanese games to us games. Did you buy the us version?

Sorry for asking don't want to be a bother

For people still trying to get the EUR version to work, I had to use the language emulation thing in luma. To access your Luma settings, hold select when you turn your 3DS on and enable game patching. These instructions from the luma github confused me so I'll mention this: in the .txt file you're creating, you need to put "EUR EN". I assumed because I had a USA console and was trying to get it to run a EUR game that I would need to write "USA EN" to tell it what I had.

Enable game patcher: Enables the following features:
  • The region/language emulation feature allows some games which need a specific language to be set to work, and DLCs for foreign games to load. To use it:
    • Create a folder named titles inside luma.
    • Create a folder with the game's title id as the name (look them up on www.3dsdb.com) inside titles.
    • Create a file named locale.txt in the game's folder.
    • Inside the file,
      • Put 3 characters for the region ("JPN", "USA", "EUR", "AUS", "CHN", "KOR", "TWN").
      • Put an empty space.
      • Put 2 characters for the language ("JP", "EN", "FR", "DE", "IT", "ES", "ZH", "KO", "NL", "PT", "RU", "TW").
    • For example, to play Pokémon™ Y in Japanese language and region:
      • Create 0004000000055E00/locale.txt.
      • Put in JPN JP.
      • Save.

Bit of a warning: If you don't like bugs, you might have trouble playing certain parts of the game..
Are there spiders? I don't care about most bugs but spiders are another deal. If they're "cartoony" enough, it's ok though.

I have one reason to play this game

Everything else is just padding for me as this point.
