So i just received the Eurosport channel via spotpass like 10 minutes ago which is pretty much like the Nintendo Video application, only it gonna show 3D videos from sports i guess. I can't really tell you because IT GIVES ME THE SAME MESSAGE AS NINTENDO VIDEO! The application is not yet available at my location... anyone else having the same issue..?

EDIT: I live in Hungary, although my 3DS is set to UK so i can access the EShop..

Region and Regionsetting have to match for the channel to work.

Being in Germany and having it set to UK will give a service not available for your region error!

edit:

so far it's just videos about people having accidents in sport ... very funny ...

Awesome, cuz if i set my region to Hungary, it won't even let me start the app. I love living in this hell hole...just not really.

I changed my region and downloaded the app just for the sake of having it. I don't think I'll actually ever get it to work though. I don't even have enough space on SD card for the Extra Data after downloading those ambassador GBA games.

Don't get excited about the video content, it's just WATTS Zap with a really badly done 3D effect in post production. Weird shit like white sleeves that seem to float off their blue t-shirt, or flat surfaces that don't look flat because of the weird algorithm they used.
You're not going to get sports highlights like Football Matches, just a set of blooper reels and stuff.

How? they'd only be 400 MB max

I got the Eurosport announcement on my system, and it says "Through EUROSPORT you will receive exciting 3D sports videos automatically via SpotPass. A mix of sporting action and funny sporting outtakes from around the world awaits you."

So yeah, the channel has just started, but this is the promised content. With a weekly release schedule identical to Nintendo video, limited to content already available online without a botched 3D effect slapped on it, there's little appeal. I'm not a sports fan but even I know sports fans want actual news as it happens.

So if I was to go to another country for a holiday or something.. or maybe even move there! I'd be unable to even use the e-shop? I mean I guess you should just change the country setting.. but you can't change it to places like the US if it's a pal console can you?
