Gaming Etrian Odyssey 3 End Game

I just finished the main story of EO3 and my main team is capped out at level 70 i want to finish some of those end game quests but they are too brutal even when grind to get cash to get the best equips i could get with forging and everything and the 6th Stratum has some brutal bosses.

I looked at the new game to see what would happen and it seems to continue my story o.o does it increase the level cap ? should i continue with new?

To increase the level cap.
I think you need to fight some dragons. But i do not know where they are located at.
Maybe head over to a EO3 board to look it up?
