+ Splatoon (looks like it'll be a fun paintball game -- way better than that piece of shit Nerf that gets its foam bullets stuck and worst case scenario you've got to buy a new batch because they're broken and don't work properly any more)

Smash Bros. & Splatoon are not out yet... so how can you thinks its "Essentials" when we dont know anything about it?

The rules in the OP clearly state that you would need to play the game (Wii U Version) to vote for it.

That's all nice and all, but as Jiehfeng states: you haven't played the wiiu version, as it's not out yet*. That "you have to have played the game for at least one hour" rule is there to prevent hypes from skewing what people like. This list is about what people actually like to play, rather than which game has the largest marketing budget. And since you can't be bothered to follow that rule, I can't be bothered to add your suggestions to the list. Better luck next time.

The game has some hickups and doesn't include the DLC/Online but even without it it's pretty good, although a shame it's not possible to take in-game screenshots.

5's a too good of a score and the game doesn't deserve that much due to the looooooong loading screens so it's more like a 3.5/5.
