Gaming eShop Thursday update

SNES VC titles would be awesome, but new 3D Classics titles would be even better.

eShop told me I needed to update just now. Is this the update everyone's talking about?

EDIT: New version is 2.1.0-3U here in the US.

That's not the update everyone's talking about. This thread is about eShop content updates.

i'm wondering if these mini updates break flash cards each time

I believe this update was supposed to fix Ridge Racer 3d. (Nintendo said they would be fixing that this week)

yes but mini updates can cause some flashcards to be disabled so that the flashcard team has to keep cracking it.

The system update is not what this thread is about. Maybe this thread should've been called 'eShop content update'. An eShop content update wouldn't necessarily require you to update your 3DS firmware.

strange how the 3ds didn't auto update. bet the eshop update will be delayed a little while because they had to post the 2.1 0.3 updates world wide first

is say give it a few more hours. will most likely be done around 10 am UK time

its 7:40 now

poor nintendo servers being hounded with 2.1 0.3 update will make the servers slow as hell so uploading any eshop content will take a while

they probably only have one guy per region doing it and they still might be getting the files from hq on a terrible connection

Usually, Friday updates for the DSiWare shop were midnight on the dot.
That might be different now, and maybe Thursday isn't the eShop date for the EU?

If it's any like the Wii's shop channel, the eshop will be updated around 12:00-1230 pm est.

Nothing new on the E-Shop here in the UK so far. Will check again tomorrow. I use my 3DS every day if only to get my new DOA Dimensions DLC every morning

That's not how it is. The eshop content was always supposed to be added thursday. The thing is though, they were supposed to announce the content in question monday, but they now decided to announced it the exact same day, which is completely pojntless and prove once again that nintendo do nothing but fail over and over.

The only new 3DS content that I could tell, was a trailer for green lantern. Yeay UK gets its first video clip download!!!

Nintendo, get your act together. Put the original Gameboy version of Tetris in the 3DS VC, and perhaps start giving us Europeans something remotely similar to the rest of the world!
