Hello everyone,

Sorry if this topic has come up before, but I didn't find what I was looking for exactly: is there some kind of eShop replacement project that can work by just using some proxy or similar?

I try to keep things legal when it comes to games, but at the same time I am more or less new to the 3DS, I have a big backlog of games, little spare time, and I have to admit I am a bit worried for the 3DS eShop dying, specially after the limited eShop in Latin America dying at the end of this month... maybe that game I didn't get to start back in the day had an update, or some cool DLC I would love, also, what about the DLCs I already got to purchase? maybe I will need to download them again some day.(for this I saw some thread about how to backup content, but didn't get to check it yet).

I know the limited eShop in most of Latin America is closing down at the end of this month, so who knows about the rest of the world. I acknowledge that once eShop dies, any paid content I didn't purchase before would have to be got without paying, but well, if it is not accessible anymore in any other way... specially because the extra content of some games cannot be accessed outside of the game as far as I know, or is there any way to get for example the DLCs of the Fire Emblem games without running the games? Because that would also be quite helpful in a situation like mine.

Kind regards, and thanks for your time.

The only way to get them without using the eshop is to find a website that has the games/updates/dlc. You will have to find them yourself as it is against site rules to ask for or to post links to copyrighted material.
