Hacking Eshop Generators? Care to explain?

Now the thread is starting to become the EoF.

A brief summary of what happened:

1. OP claims to have received code and questioned whether or not it would render banned/unable to use his Switch. We answered no.
2. After some arguing, he uses the code only to find the code was already redeemed
3. OP then confronts his friend and his friend shows him the code generator works and redeems another code on the Switch.
4. OP asks for the application and also for another code to test things
5. No response from "friend"
6. OP then apologizes for what happened, making the thread, and then is frustrated that this will ruin his reputation (which is true, if it hasn't already it will very soon)
7. Everybody starts ranting because they had more hope than not that this would work. They also start bringing up valid points that this will end badly for whoever is "generating" the codes if they actually are

Conclusion: It was fake to begin with. The OP didn't know any better and we gave him false hope (as well as everybody in this thread)
Now everybody knows what happens, and I hope that a mod closes this thread (hopefully they'll quote this post so that people don't start questioning this again)
