Hacking eshop doesn't seem to work properly with emunand / possible user error

Been playing around with stuff and I went to open the eshop today. I'm running what I believe is the latest software via emunand which is 8.1 iirc. When I loaded the eshop it showed me updates available for games but nothing much else. I believe I saw one or two legitimate games you could purchase but they all said "currently unavailable" any ideas?

It sounds like a flaky net connection. Try eshop again or a game online to test it. If it doesn't work then the emunand might be messed up so format the emunand and upgrade it again or try a different SD.

Ended up finding out region was set to Uruguay for some reason, set to USA and it worked ...(??)...

People from South America are not allowed to actually purchase stuff from the eShop (except for Brazil), so that IS the reason.
