Hi! Recently, I bought a second hand Old Nintendo 3DS. I have updated Luma3DS and FBI. I installed The Legend of Zelda: Link Between Worlds. However, after sometime in the game, the game crashes. It reads:

"
An error occurred (ErrDisp)

Error Type: generic

Process ID: 38
Process name: Zelda
Process Title ID: 0x00040000000c400

Address: 0x0040e718
Error Code: 0xd900458b
"

I tried searching online and one of the recommended solution is to change the memory card. I did buy a new memory card (32 GB) and check it with h2testw. It didn't find any error on memory card. I continue to add stuffs to memory card (from the Finalizing section of 3DS Hacks Guide) and played Zelda again. However, at that specific point of the game, the error persists. It seems like the change of memory card doesn't fix it. Anyone who could help me with this?

Pirate a different copy of the game

If your original SD card had a bad sector, and you copied everything from it to your new card then you would have copied everything, even the corrupted file. Have you tried using a different CIA file for the game on the new card?

When I bought the old 3DS, the past owner is kind enough to leave me some CIAs of different random games.

Okay, but should I buy a cart or install a CIA?
Install a different .CIA either another .CIA or convert with godmode9 .3DS to .CIA
