Hardware Error NP-2239-6 ?

I have just got a used PS Vita and I'm trying to set it up, having first performed a factory reset to remove the old owners psn account.
I have created a PSN account, but when I try to use it...

PlayStation Network -> Sign Up -> Use an Existing Account -> (enter details) -> Next ->
"To use Playstation Network with this account, you must
provide additional information.

[ OK ]
Please Wait

The connection to the server or device has been terminated
(NP-2239-6)



How do I do this?



[edit] needed to add more info to my profile through the PSN website, that got past it.

I am having this issue as well on 3.60 enso. Not sure is itls 1.2 still works.

turns out that

sony blocked the store to new certs only
the iTLS PSN login error on 3.60 is caused by shell failing some handshake with PSN (yes, settings/store IPC shell to call PSN). shell.elf_812bd268(0x30009, 0x81665B98, 0x400, 0x81602DFC) returned 0x80550F17

changes have been made to the vita's psn, same as the ps3's and possibly ps4's. you have to use the reauth plugin to login on lower firmware. you may be able to use this: https://github.com/SKGleba/iTLS-Enso/releases/tag/v3.2

Reauth plugin or the iTLS enso vpk worked.
