Hacking Error Installing Homebrew Channel

I tried installing the Homebrew channel using the Twilight hack. I have 3.2U firmware and have tried everything possible to get it to work. No .dol files will load, only .elf files. I tried using wad manager and installer (every one that came out) to just add the channel but get errors trying to read from a SD card or USB stick. My SD card is FAT 16 and was recently formated. I have the boot.elf file in the root of the card. The problem isn't loading the hack but rather installing. I get the same error ES_Addticket failed: -2011. I'm stuck and don't know what to do.

the most recent homebrew is boot.dol and not .elf

get the zip in my sig and follow the WiiHow to in that - format your SD card before copying the files as it has everything you need if your on 3.2
