i'll sometimes get this when im playing nanostray2 , is it a bad rom?
also when im playing moonshell mp3, with headphones on and touch the the connection/take out the headphones, it will FREEZE/up lock up the sound

Dunno about the rom, that's weird, I'd change the rom just to see if that solves it.
Glad you posted about the moonshell thing. My gf and I had this issue, but she had a game freeze too, so I thought something was wrong with the acekard.
If we both are getting music related moonshell issues, its probably just a moonshell bug.
