Gaming Error code 102-2211

Just picked up a wiiu wind waker bundle and I get error code 102-2211 whenever connecting to make a nintendo id
I cant access the eshop now
But the connection works fine? It shows connected

the internet browser works perfectly fine but i cant do anything else like set up a nintendo network id

Setting the ip and dns manually solved this error code for me.

changed my connection from wep to wpa2 aes or whatever, internet works on my laptop and it gets to the working update screen when i hit system update but dont work

What do I put for my ip and dns? is there a tutorial for this?

EDIT: I guess a restart after changing to wpa2 psk (aes) works.
WEP apparently doesnt work?

EDIT 2: i got the nintendo network to work but I cant update my console... same error wow

The best for the wii u is to reserve a static ip in your router, but you you can also use one from the ip-range of your router.

Use the dns server of your internet service provider. If you don't know your dns server, you can also use another one e.g. from google.

thanks I did that, now its stuck on Time remaining: 00:11 on the update screen.......

The update is very big and the time on the screen is never very accurate.

Starting the wii u the first time is really a pain in the ass.

ah it ended up being about 20 minutes but was just really slow on the seconds thanks though
