After buying a PSP and painstakingly making my own Pandora battery and Magic MS, it was finally time to play my first PSP game on the 5.00CFW.

So I made a .cso of Wipeout Pulse and copied it to my memory stick (brand new offical Sony 16GB) into the ISO folder, attempted to load it and recieved the error "The game could not be started. (80020321)"

Bear with me as this is my first foray into PSP CFW, and I could possibly be doing something obviously stupid and wrong, but I can't for the life of me think of what it could be. Any ideas, guys?

At the XMB press select, change UMD ISO MODE to "M33 driver", that should do it

TripDyke, what's your PSP type? I heard PSP can't read 16GB memory stick (max 8GB). Mine is PSP 2006 cfw 4.01, can it read 16GB memory stick? Does cfw 5.00 make PSP can read 16GB memory stick?

I run 5.00M33-6 with a 16GB stick, and the photofast adapter can support up to 32GB. So it can definitely support up to 32GB.

I'm using a PSP-2002 which had the 'G' on the box and came with 3.95 OFW, and is now using the 5.00 CFW.

I believe compatibility with upto 32Gb sticks was introduced from 2.81 onwards...if you're having issues it's either your firmware or your memory stick and not a general experience.

TripDyke,velocity37 : how much is 16GB memory stick?

Edit : I saw $85.59 at amazon. Some news say 32GB memory stick will be release in 2009.
I think my 8GB would be enough for now, there aren't many good games lately.

I purchased a genuine Sony 16gb for $159AUD, just after a mate had bought one for $220AUD from somewhere else. I just went with the 16gb because it was only about $40AUD more than the 8gb.
