I followed the stickied guide to mod a friend's Virgin Wii, then installed Darkcorp 1.1 on it. Thing is, every game I try, gives me a 001 error except a few ones like Paper Mario. Would i be missing something or what? I tried them in Neogamma and it gives the same error 001. =/ I'm not sure if allowing region Free Wii discs on priiloader have to do anything with it?

Any ideas?

I even reinstalled DarkCorp, one manually and one using the ModMii guide, and the same thing happens.

Here is a syscheck log, if it is useful for someone.

Why would you install Darkcorp after modding it?

No need. Personally I would reinstall the nand and remove any traces of Darkcorp and then just mod with modmii.

Are you sure the Wii does not have a modchip? It sure sounds like it does have one and the chip needs updating.

That is what i thought, i might have to open it up to see if there is a modchip there. Is there anyway to tell without having to open the console up?

That's dangerous and unnecessary. DarkCorp won't hurt anything (although it might conflict if you have a modchip), and if you want to remove it then it would be better just to re-install your IOS's, which is part of ModMii's process.

If this 'virgin' wii was purchased within the past 2 years then darkcorp will not do you any good because your wii's dvd drive can not read burned discs.

Personally, I would not use darkcorp even if my wii's drive was capable of utilizing it. I would buy a modchip instead for my backups. It's been about a year or more since darkcorp has been updated.

Turns out, it was a misleading virgin Wii... It DID have a modchip, so i just clipped the bastard out, then installed everything again, and voila. It works now. Guess the most obvious answer was the one I decided to overlook cuz of wrong info... bleh.

Thanks to all that helped, btw. You guys are brilliant. :)
