After all the shit he's done and they still voted for him, why stop now? Even if Trump started gunning down civilians in the streets, they'd still vote for him, as long as those civilians weren't them.

Given how Trump has been pardoning and promoting registered sex offenders, I expect him to repeal the age of consent at this point. We've reached the "Acceptance" stage of his implication in the Epstein files, and that's not good, because this was the last chance anyone had to impeach him.

Important distinction: the question asked was this one:

"If Donald Trump was officially implicated in Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking activities, would this make you more likely to vote for another party, or would it not affect your vote for Donald Trump?"

That's a whole different question than

"would you vote for Donald Trump if he's a pedophile?"

Remember that "officially implicated" doesn't mean much to Republican voters to begin with. Implicated in the Carol case, implicated in the missing documents case, convicted for tax fraud... I could go on. It's not that they don't care... They simply don't believe the news when it doesn't suit them. I could make fun of that, but that misses the point:

For 53% of them, this now would make a difference.

... That's actually pretty significant, especially given that it's conducted among Republicans. It means they're giving this thing more credit than earlier controversies.
