With in the last few years I've been hearing this annoying voice in the back of my head that Apple is a competitor in the console wars or some crap like that. I must say was rather shock to hear that since A. No matter how hard I look I don't see an Apple Console any where, B. They don't make games, (Those stupid app games don't count) I'm talking games full on console or hand held games (by hand held I'm referring to an actual gaming hand held set) and C. it just pisses me off to no end when a table, OS, App manufacture sicks their nose in places it doesn't belong.

and to all those out there that like to read between the lines, yes I am an Apple hater to some degree all it is a reversed version of Windows lacking the compatibility that millions all over the world love. Blast me all you want these are my opinions and thoughts and feelings and I am entitled to them, apple sucks (though I've been playing with the idea of getting an Ipad or a Windows 8 tablet)

Sorry I just needed to get that out there and off my chest and yes I've done my research for those that think I'm just talking out of my ass, no I won't post links because it is my research not any one else's correct!

Apple is definitely a force in the handheld gaming market. You can't look at something like Angry Birds with a billion downloads and say that's not cutting into Nintendo's pie. Just because that isn't the type of game which suites our fancy personally (as "core gamers", dare I say) in no way delegitimizes iOS (or Android) as a gaming platform. Not everyone needs something to the sophistication of a Mario or Grand Theft Auto to pass the time.

The real question is: Why do you have such a negative emotional response to this information? Maybe talk to a doctor about those voices in your head.

Substitute "Apple" for "smartphones" and then you're there. Games on phones have pretty much killed the casual handheld console market (and yes those "silly little games" do count); the type of casual players who made the DS so successful are now playing games on their phones instead. And why not, it's one device they were carrying around anyway, so people are more likely to leave the house and play outside with one than on a dedicated console. As phones get more powerful the types of game people are running on them get more sophisticated. It may not have a D-pad but to ignore it is just silly. Whether you're on Apple's store or Google's Play Store doesn't really matter. Come to think of it, I play a lot of puzzle games and I've hardly touched my DS in the past year. The one thing I've never seen a phone pull off is a decent platformer.

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
