The new administration of EmuWiki has teamed up with me and some other guys to optimize it. We call it the "EmuWiki Regeneration Project" and it aims to clean up EmuWiki. It is in early stages, but we have a team set, and we are thinking about totally reinstalling the forum, and revamping the main page. You can visit my site for more information.

You're 14. And you think you'll be able to clean up a massive site? Think again. Let others do it, or just don't bother. You will most likely not finish this. Just because it is WAY too much work.

Also, self-ad-ver-ti-sing!

hey, it's not that hard. It's a complete CSS revamp (hopefully) and a new logo. we will most likely implement the new MediaWiki as soon as we can. It's not like changing every single page. it's just running a quick duplicate cleanup script and changing the CSS style like the skins on GBATemp.

I doubt this is going to turn out good with you in the picture going by the posts that you have made.

hmm. good point. *turns off sig* (crap, can't turn off the profile pic)

Guys. What does age have to do with maturity and skill?
Take TeenDev for example.. He's pretty young and he's been contributing to projects such as Axdroid and DSAIM. Let's see what pyrosurfer can do before we judge him.

I know a 12 year old who wrote his own coding language, created a blogging system, and makes a ton of cash from web design commissions.
All self taught.

Age doesn't mean anything.

Seriously, a 12 year old who can afford to buy a PS3, not because he wanted it, but because he could.
With his own money.

Hey! middle aged guys bashing this pyrosurfer! It's actually quite mean and insulting to say that this project won't go well because he's in charge. Age means nothing. Give him a chance.

To you, pyrosurfer, I say good luck!

It's not that we're saying "oMGWtFBBQ 14 YRS OLD MUSt bE STUPID KID"

It's just that younger people tend not to see large projects through, either because they underestimate the task just because of their lack of experience, or they lose motivation quickly because of, well, their age.

Of course he can do it, it's just we shouldn't go all-in on this bet. Not that we're betting anything, but y'know.

Ahaha, yea.
The guy built 8 computers for himself "just because".
With quality parts too.
I'd question why, but hey, I always say if you can afford it with your own money, go for it.

@Zarcon: That would just be a fucking waste of money. Why build 8 when 1 desktop is enough?
I could buy myself a PS3 any day but i won't otherwise i lose the interest for that month.

Just because you have the money, doesn't mean you can spend it all in one go. You'd be back at level one again.

TeenDev is a lot smarter than this guy. No insult intended, but pyrosurfer can't even type properly, or put some effort in his posts/topics.

I think he can do it. It looks good so far.
You probably just looked at the EmuWiki page. pyrosurfer didn't make that.

Also, pyrosurfer: your email address is on your site, so anyone who wants to can easily spam it. Put it in an image if you don't want spam.
