Hacking EmuS/SysE

EmuNAND is copy of your NAND which is stored on your SD card = Emulated NAND. SysNAND is stored in the NAND.
So when you start with R, it loads NAND from your SD.

Yes, but then it looks like SysE or EmuS and in the Luma3ds settings there is written type: Sysnand with Emunand or Emunand with Sysnand.
 
Oh damn, I didn't realise we've come so far in 3DS hacking that newbies don't even know what an emuNAND is anymore. :O
I am actually quite newbie, but i remember the A9LH days. Oh, that thing was a pain in the butt. Bricking your system was so easy
 
All explained in Luma's github wiki..........

They mean that, while the operating system may be running from internal storage or from SD, the kernel was loaded from the opposite storage

I know perfectly well what a Emunand is just that I wanted to know what an EmuS/SysE is.


I am actually quite newbie, but i remember the A9LH days. Oh, that thing was a pain in the butt. Bricking your system was so easy
I only saw the A9LH guide and I thank myself for making the CFW late.
