Hi all !

I just applied homebrew to my Switch yesterday and everything went smoothly expect i couldn't start HBG Shop so i tried to delete everything on micro SD card and create a new from sdsetup website.

After doing that HBG Shop started working but realized the "Launch" name change to "EmuMMC CFW" from "Atmosphere FSS0 EmuMMC" and my version has "S" at the end instead of "E" so i think my emuMMC is gone now.

My question is what should i do for restoring the emuMMC ? i already downloaded some games via GoldLeaf+USB connection and kinda scared because i don't want to brick my Switch. I was thinking about deleting CFW and reinstalling but my friend said just follow the "Creating emuMMC" step on the offical guide.

Thanks ! :)

Change the active emuNAND in Hekate and save the settings. It sounds like the emummc.ini might have been overwritten/changed, since Hekate should just refuse to boot if it can't find the emuNAND partition set in emummc.ini.
As for the name, that doesn't matter. But you will have to get the updated sigpatches again from https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases if you haven't already done so (use the bootconfig version)

ok so i got home and when i click on change emuMMC there are no options to select what should i do ?

@The Real Jdbye
Sorry didn't see your reply, it got lost in the numerous tabs I have open. Did you ever get it sorted out?
Did you re format the SD card or something? Because it seems like the emuMMC partition is just gone.
You might have to make a new one, which means losing all the games you installed and progress you made.
Just following the steps you did originally to set up emuMMC should get it working again.
