Homebrew Emulators - homebrew vs cia

Is there any reason to prefer one way over the other, for example if I launch snes9x via homebrew or install the .cia?

Emu has more user flexibility

Thanks but I didn't mean emu vs vc but wether I should install the emu via homebrew (3dsx) or cia. If there is any advantage in one way or the other?

It's up to u what u prefer

It depends on the emulator. For the most part it doesn't matter, but in a couple of cases, the CIA versions are better (PS1 comes to mind). If you have the option, i'd use CIA versions.

What's better about CIA PS1? Dynarecs work through homebrew now, was there something else?
