Hacking Emulators and bios help

Just want a little help as a newbie. I have my emulators but do I need bios? The consoles I am emulating are gb/c/a, nes, and snes.

It depends on the emulator, most of them will run better with the bios even if they don't require it.

You know these things are often written in the documentation that accompanies the software, right?

I often find people starting to mess with flashcarts are the kind of people starting to get into tech in general and don't think the info in there is more of a tos of sorts. Most people don't realize how useful a manual/readme is outside the tech world

Depending on the emulator, bios isn't required, but still prefer for improving compatibility (Or just accurate representation of console) Most likely the emulator will ask you to provide a bios if it needs one. Get the right bios according to the region the game is being played. NTSC U for USA games, PAL E for european games, NTSC J for Japanese games.
