Hi Guys,

I want to add a sega mega drive emulator on my xbox360. My xbox360 is not hacked and has dashboard 2.0.15574.0. I am somewhat confused, do I need to flash my dvd drive to do this? I am confused what I need to do in order to play old sega games Please help!!

detail below of what abox360 I have
falcon can be JTAGged and RGH'd & R-JTAGged
D:2.0.15574.0
K:2.0.15574.0
BenQ FW: 62430C, 64930C

I don't mind software mods or hardware plug and play but soldering isn't my thing.

many thanks

For homebrew youll need RGH or JTAG hack. Which requires soldering. Theyres no other way since things like flashing dvd drive, xkey or so, only enables you to play xbox(360) backups but no homebrew.

just give your console to someone to rtag.
drive flashing wont help and if you dont solder ur mostly out of luck unless u get someone else to do the work for u.

Ok guess its back to the drawing board then. I thought that may be the case but needed to be sure. Thanks guys are all your help..

Yea emulators on the 360 aren't worth it. Paying someone to rgh or jtag for you will cost you around $120 and that's without shipping.

I loved emulators on my rgh. I only played a few SNES/nes/SMS/smd games and they all worked flawless for me.
You can flash to play backups but to play emulators you need to rgh it as you can't JTAG it. You can rgh yourself if you feel confident with a soldering iron
