I know that there are homebrews that allow you to control the PC with your DS, but my question is this: will PC emulation (I want SNES, but VirtualBoy is also important) work with these hombrews?

How about modifying the homebrew so you can assign the DS keys to the PC keyboard? Won't that work? This way you could use the DS only as a controller and watch the action on the PC (it's way more fun playing with a controller than with the keyboard).Bently said:Yes it would probably work, but it would be running slowly. Why not just use the SNES emulator on the DS?
But then again, the compatibility isn't perfect.
I want to play Super Metroid, which is playable but not very fun with some invisible graphics.
QUOTE(jurassicplayer @ May 23 2010, 04:38 PM) The only thing that is bothering me about this idea is the keymap. I've never actually used one of the PC controllers before, but if they use the normal keyboard...that might not be such a fun thing to do xD (its like playing with 1 finger).
I had this very same idea and tried DS2Key with VBA. It was working nice.EliteKill said:How about modifying the homebrew so you can assign the DS keys to the PC keyboard? Won't that work? Exactly what I was going to suggest.SignZ said:I had this very same idea and tried DS2Key with VBA.
