Hacking Elliot Quest Pink Bomb Glitch

I'm playing Elliot Quest on 3DS.
However, I'm at the part of the final dungeon where you need to purchase the pink bomb and everytime I collect it the game crashes and i get a crash dump.
Is this a problem of the game itself, Boot9strap or Luma?

In my experience it was an outdated Luma when that happened to me, I would try updating luma to the latest, if it is on the latest public release try the latest nightly release

Im on boot9strap v1.2 and Luma3DS v8.0. If i install a nightly release i become a blackscreen.

You're talking about this? It's game issue. Like slowdowns. I've read that US eShop already got an update, not EU though... Through freeShop at least. Checked it few days ago.

Yes, this place. Bad news. I wait for the eur update...

After all the time there is no game update. Maybe it is a custom firmware problem?
Currently im on Luma 8.1.1
