Hacking ELink Real-Time Saving

I have an ELINK 512MB card. I am using Elink 5.57 and can write the games to the card fine. My problem is that I can not save games from either internal to the game or using the RTS. When trying from within the game, the game says it saves, but then when you reopen the game there are not any save games available to load. If I try to use the Real-Time Save, using L+R+Start combination, I get the option to save and it says it save successfully, but then the game locks up. When I go back into the game and try to load the RTS it loads successfully, but then again the game is locked and can not be played.

What am I doing wrong? Do I have a defective card, or does it need some new updated firmware. When it boots up it says elink v3.3.

My son just spent his allowance on this card and is really ummed that he can't save any games.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem here, when i first got it i had the link error problem but was able to fix that, now when i try to save either way the same thing happens to me, right now I am only putting games that dont really require saving and I would like any help I can get.
