Hey guys, anyone of you bought Elex ?
I preordered some time ago, sadly I only had like 2 Hours that I could play since release as there are some familiar Problems ...
It's made by Piranha Bytes who made Gothic and Risen (Gothic 1 and 2 were awesome, 3 which was made for international players was the worst ever sadly)
Now after many people were angry about many bad descisions made by publisher who told them to hurry up and change stuff they decided to do this one themselves and not get any big publisher for this Project.
Currently many German people seem to be very happy with this game (at least the old Gothic fans) which grants the game 4 of 5 stars on Steam, still many angry people (mostly english) that don't like the Game because the grafic is kind of outdated (some parts of the Game really hardly look better than Gothic 2 which was released 2002 XD still it's good enough for what this game wants to be) and some don't like that it is really hard, as the Game is Open World it is highly possible to encounter Opponents who insta kill you or take no damage at all if you have bad luck ...
If you know Gothic or Risen you know that this is one of the Games you can play more or less endless, similiar to the Elder Scrolls.
Maybe not worth 50$ for most people, especially as it feels outdated BUT if you like these story driven games you should really buy it !
