Hacking Eject/Reinsert during 3DS update reboots?

I am trying to install the 2i 3DS update on a DSLite with AKAIO 1.8.6a

When it tells me to eject/reinsert card before continuing, uping re-inserting the DSLite reboots.

Anyone know whats up?

Strange........

I updated mine and it didn't ask me to re-insert the cart.

Try re-downloading it from here.

Run it using your ds and if it says 44 for HWID, don't update.

That is where I downloaded it from an hour ago, and I am definitely running the correct one (L one for DSLites)

The DSL file is for updating multiple cards in a row that's why it asks you to eject and re-insert.

If you are updating just one card use the DSI file even if you do it on a DS lite.

Ah, ok got it working, I had to actually remove the microSD from the acekard when re-inserting, and then it flashed fine.
