wouldnt you need to be near the console to get the ejected disc anyway?
LoL, good question.
But aswering the topic question.
It's not possible.
Why do you want to eject the disc far from the console?

I THINK there's a homebrew app out where you can eject the disc by hitting A...

Or something.

At least that's what I thought it was.

So instead of standing uo to eject a wii disk and collect then put in a new one, you could reboot the wii, launch homebrew channel, load a homebrew, then in the 2 seconds it takes to eject you marvel at how useful this homebrew is, walk to the wii, take out the disc, put in a new one and then reboot the wii again?

My slave (little brother) ejects the disks for me anyway, so i cant see any use for an app like this

unless your servant has no hands/feet and uses teeth to pickup cd

Thanks for the entertainment..

eject button on console it is..it's about time my kids earned their keep..

Cheers and Happy New Year!

one use would be.. you're done using the wii... press eject, then rather than taking the disc out imediately you switch to a different input and start watching tv..... an hour and a half later when you're ready to finally leave that overly compressed couch cushion you get off your arse and put the disc away, then go to the bathroom to take that long awaited dump which surely is greasy because you're obviously a mess..... then you go to sleep, with a poorly wiped rear only to wake up the next day and do the same thing.

quite an overrated feature imo. but whatever floats peoples boats i suppose

Maybe someone could frisbie a disk into the Wii...If someone finds a video of people doing that on Wii/PS3 type drives, please post lol.

After straining hard, I finally thought of a use for this feature.
After playing a game for a long-ass time, the disc starts to heat up, and ejecting it would cause it to be able to cool-down faster so you can resume play sooner.

there is a "dvd eject channel" for the wii, so you can eject your game by clicking on the channel.
use the serach function to find the channel...

Ummm...stupid topic .. kind of.

Anyways, if you could eject the disc through the Wiimote wirelessly, it's not like there is some robot which will open the game case you want to play, take out the disc and place it correctly in the Wii.

Point: You have to get up anyway ... unless you want to get both your Wii and discs dirty (dust and scratches).

Grow the hell up.

What the fuck does that have ANYTHING to do with the topic? We're not talking about uses, we're talking about if there was an application to eject it. Which there is.

So why aren't people just ending it?
