Homebrew EEPROM save GBA VC injection fix?

So i've tried multiple games that use an EEPROM save with VC injection, mainly super monkeyball JR and robot wars extreme destruction. Both gave me errors when saving on the 3ds. I tried using the sram patcher, but when i ran it in an emulator, it just didnt save at all. Is there a fix for this?

Hey did you ever get an answer for this?

When you patch it for SRAM, you also have to generate a footer set to SRAM.
