I'm sorry to hear that. I'm pretty sure though I know what the error is. Once it's fixed you should be able to use EdiZon again to restore your old files to fix everything again.Careful with this, it's more far-reaching than it seems. I backed up all my saves first, then tried to restore a BoTW save on a secondary account I didn't really care about and it errored out. From then on BoTW, Xenoblade 2 and the Dragon Quest Builders demo refused to load and said the data was corrupted as well. Mario Odyssey, thankfully, seems to be unaffected. Several restarts later, and after restoring my saves with Checkpoint it now no longer says the data is corrupted, but it does require me to download the games/updates again to play them. So now those games are locked away to me until I upgrade from 4.1.0. I don't really play those games anyway, so I'm not sure if I'll upgrade right now; I think I'll just put it back on the dock and wait for a while.
Sure, it could have been a lot worse, but long story short this program is not safe and do not use it.

Thanks, but hopefully they were restored when I restored them via checkpoint. If not the other program does have them, but I don't trust it enough to ever use it again. Plus I'm going to have to update eventually unless someone develops a way to install things to the switch on older firmwares. To be honest I might not mind updating so much because I've been wanting to play balloon world anyway.
Hey, quick question, is there some way to check the version I was using? I don't have my switch homebrew up right now, but I wonder if the version I had was an earlier buggy build. I did download it like a week ago then forgot about it.
This is an example of the issue that might happen, as BOTW stores all your savefiles and album captures to a subdirectory.tried to restore a BoTW save on a secondary account I didn't really care about and it errored out.
So I updated to 5.1.0 and redownloaded the BoTW update data (I have the cart so that's all I needed) and not only does it run properly but both my user saves are in tact. I did use checkpoint to put them all back just in case after this little hiccup, and I'm hopeful that X2 should restore safely, but that means a 13+ hour download on my internet. Guess I'll be back later. By the way Pokémon Quest is pretty cool for a F2P.
Oh, I also made sure to update to the newest version of EdiZon so hopefully this doesn't happen again. Out of curiosity, why did trying to restore a save with it corrupt most of my other saves and how did you 'fix' it in the newest version.
There were basically two issues that worked together. First of all I forgot to delete the games save files before copying and then, partialy because of this, it appended the new save data to the old one instead of just copying over the files. That's why most games were seeing a corrupted save file. Both issues were fixed in 1.0.4 though
No! Backups work. Just restoring them breaks the save games for the game. You can use the latest version to inject your old saves which should work nowShould I delete all the saves I made with the previous version?
Oh, it's perfect thank you@Thetoto You can already do that from the Switch, in the Data Management settings.
I can't delete the data storage from the program itself.
Uh, when and where does that happen? On launching from the HBL? Did you put the correct NRO + NACP?Mine is black and it's crashing
I didn't have a game on backgroundUh, when and where does that happen? On launching from the HBL? Did you put the correct NRO + NACP?
If you're running a game in the background, that can happen. Just close it and try again.
