He was saying the fake R4 will break in 8 months. He didn't say it's been out for 8 months. ¬¬

But anyways, I think the EDGE is a better card than R4DS. I've recently had this dilemma, and I came to the conclusion that EDGE does everything R4 does, but better.

People say that the EDGE is the sucsessor for the R4DS. Meaning that it's like saying that the R4DS is old while the EDGE is gonna be the next thing ( as it is cheaper than the Cyclo and you want something similar get the EDGE. Will be saving money and you will only be missing a few features. )

For r4 the last firmware update is 1.18 ( thats a long time ago)!
The most people say that nintendo sued R4 so they dont make any firmware anymore!
So as Sir-Fritz sayed R4 is dead.
If you buy a r4 remember that you have to do it with version 1.18 or a Yasu patch!

Get the EDGE it is good and reliable, but what I'm wondering is why hasn't anyone recommended the M3 Real. Heck it has Sakura whats not to like. Well that's my opinion get the EDGE or even an M3 Real.

Since just about all of my personal questions are getting zero replys, I guess ill endulge myself in giving my opinion on this topic.

After personally evaluating each card, the choice for me was EDGE all the way.
If this was perhaps 2006, id say R4DS for sure, but its not. Times have changed son and the R4 team got left in the upgrade dust.

It's sad that people are still mentioning that they will maybe buy the R4. It was good but is not anymore. Imho I think the Edge is superior to the R4 at the moment.
