Hacking EDGE section

Uhm no. While its very similar to CycloDS, its not a direct copy as its missing several features such as in-game menu and RTS. Therefore I think that it should be considered as a separate device and should have its own section.

Its close enough, and the CycloDS board isn't particularly active.

Might as well just lump them together, instead of further cluttering this board.

i don't think edge deserves it's own board myself. i've used one but i don't like it that much. and the microsd slot is horrible.

cyclods board is not active as there is very minor problems. Its a card which has hardly any problem so far. Cant lump edge and cyclods together, edge should lump with the n-card and clone section.

That doesn't make any sense. The EDGE is as far from the N-Card as it can be.

The EDGE uses a modified version of the CycloDS loader, therefore it makes the most sense to place them in the same sub-forum.

Therefore adding the EDGE to the same forum would not disrupt anything, as it is one of the more reliable carts as well.

And what happens with the CycloDS and EDGE firmware gets out of sync, and EDGE has problems that CycloDS does not or vice versa? Lumping both together would cause a great deal of confusion in this instance. The fact is that even though EDGE is very similar to CycloDS, they are different devices and both release firmware updates at different rates with different changes. Unless each poster was required to explicitly specify if they are posting in relation to either CycloDS or EDGE, I dont see this working well...
