Hacking EDGE save problems

I have an EDGE and a 1gb Kingston microSD with the newest firmware.

Every once in a while, and only when I am saving, the game will freeze during the save.
This happened twice on HM: Rune Factory, so I gave up on that game..
It happened a couple other times.. And just recently it happened to Pokemon Crystal with my LameBoy emulator on my EDGE.

When it does happen, there is nothing to do but reset the DS..
All of my skins get deleted, moonshell stops working.. and I lose some games..

Has anyone else had/have the same problem as me?

And, if anyone is reading this that owns a CylcoDS, does this affect you either? I was thinking about possibly purchasing a CycloDS if it does not have the same problems.

Edit: I just Formatted the microSD again, it said it was a FAT format, so I formatted it instead with a FAT32.. Just in case it helps.. And I'm placing everything into its own folder, as opposed to just keeping most things on the root.

People report that cyclods is very stable and never freezes.

@xTimeKillerx: I have gone through those too. Game, saves, and skin deletion is really a nightmare. My microSD card (1GB Kingston JAP) was already formatted twice to FAT with the Window's way, and Panasonic (?) formatter, but still went into the same problem.
