Ebay Case Issue advice

I'm sure this isn't a big deal, I'm just wanting to make sure someone isn't trying to tag me with bad feedback or something.

I recently purchased a Item from Ebay that was listed in good condition. After receiving the item it was in piss poor condition. I messaged the seller saying I'm going to be leaving neutral feedback. The seller messages me back literally saying to keep the game free of charge and sent me a full refund without me even asking for a refund. I figured that was the end of it.

This morning I have a "Cancel transaction" case against me, I figure this is just for him to get out of Ebay Fees but wanted to make sure he isn't trying to do something else.

This. Otherwise he'd have to send an appeal for the fees to be written off. It's nothing scam-like, he just doesn't want to pay for the percentage of the final value and listing fees.
