ROM Hack Easy ROM Hacking Tutorial

This is a tutorial on how to ROM hack very easily. It covers decrypting, editing, and rebuilding. There are other tutorials, but this one seems to be the easiest. No .rsf's or scripts. It requires 2 PC applications and one 3DS application. If you already have Xorpads for the game you're editing, either by illegally downloading them or from a previous attempt at ROM hacking, you can skip 0:07 - 2:15. That's the xorpad generation part.

The video is pretty straightforward and shouldn't require a written tutorial. I didn't cut any 'obvious' steps out, everything is there in a 6 minute video.

What are other ways to generate the Xorpads when you don't have your 3DS on 4.x? Mine is on 6.x

You can use the decrypt9 launcher.dat and go to go.gateway-3ds.com and itll generate xorpads

Getting a "wrong version ncchinfo.bin" error all the time, using decrypt9's launcher.dat :s
Even though I got the ncchinfo by pasting my rom into the CtrKeyGen.py file

Will the fate ever let me to generate a single xorpad file

This is a good thread. I dont see any problem to up it anyway. But I'll be more careful on what I post in next time
