Meh. After 3, I can't say I care. Don't care for what they have done to the series. BF2 was it's peak for me.

I just hope their next BF game ****ing works on PC.
Two machines and I think it ran for all of 2 games from the course of its launch till about a month ago when I last tried.
Based on the swamped support sections for the game i'm going to assume its not uncommon.

Pretty hard to reign supreme if no one can play your damn game.

Battlefield and CoD are too confused about what they are. If I want an arcadey shooter, Halo or Unreal Tourney or plenty of others do it better. If I want a realistic shooter then I have Counter Strike.
There's really no room for either title in my library. They're just the middle child I often forget exists.

EA and Activision can have fun reprinting the exact same game and seeing who can sell more.

Never played too much of Battlefield, I played a bit of BC2, but I didn't like it all too much, although from what I've seen from BF3 and 4, I kind of want to give Battlefield another try.

Hikaru? As in Hikaru Sulu? Cool. And I thought BF3 was overrated or something like that. I didn't really hear about 4 until the new Playstation was announced. The second game in a series is usually the best one.

Haha, nah, just something I picked back when I was in my weaboo phase. And actually, Bad company 2 is like the 8th installment in the Battlefield franchise, I think.

Can't say for Bad Company 2, but compared to BLOPS 2, I found BF3 so much more fun and overall a more beautiful game.

Battlelog sucks ass though. I'd still love a classic, console style menu.
See my sig to make Battlelog more bearable.

I find it hilarious that EA thinks they can beat Activision at their own game. EA needs to learn that they need to rehash the living piss out of a game and make it have the same short single player, mediocre online play and cheese mechanics in order for people to play it. CoD is literally king of the rehashes and offers nothing new gameplay wise and FPS fanboys have proven time and time again that they will pay full price for a slightly prettier version of the last game with a new title and 'moar zombies!'.

To be fair the king of rehashes is Pokemon. At leas Activision doesn't release two versions of Call of Duty at the same time with slightly different weapons called "Warzone" and "Battleground".

I hope Nintendo starts to tackle the FPS genre again. A Nintendo FPS, with a cartoonish vibe to it, would really intrigue me. You could either take an existing franchise and give it the FPS treatment. Or create a new franchise.

Advance Wars, in particular, is a game I wouldn't be opposed to seeing this occur with. We haven't had a new AW game since 2008. And while I would prefer sticking with the strategy genre, there are certainly enough entertaining characters to turn it into a FPS (especially from Dual Strike).

BF3 is a great game to play, i will pick up BF4 but not until EA has it on an offer price, i can wait, not getting caught out again as i did with Crysis 3 (having it on offer after my purchase at launch in a matter of weeks).

To complete? As in 100%? It takes way more then 8 hours. You can 100% CoD single player in less then 8 hours.
Arbitrary qualifications ahoy!

If you can then so can I.

Pretty sure even end to end with ideal conditions would be longer. On all modes and possibly to perfection or some form of it.
Also if I need to trade pokemon to evolve them then nobody can 100% single player and thus we get to include multiplayer on COD, if only because of trophments.

If this means that it makes BF4 a better game, go for it. I really enjoyed 3. But if this is about just making BF more like CoD, then thats mad gay and you can forget about me buying a copy.

Either way, all things considered, thats kinda a silly thing to aim for. Uh, pun not intended.
