Chrono Trigger "re-mastered"?

It's a lazy port, that's what it is.

call it what you may...but I am finally glad they are making a remake of this all time game.

Don't get me wrong! CT is my favorite 2D RPG, but I thought they would work on that just a little more, like smoother sprites, new dungeons and bosses, better sounding music, etc.

A full 3D remake like FFIII and IV would not be bad either.

This is just Square Enix's line up (they're publishing the Taito games too)

Nice to have a confirmation of Legend of Kage 2, loved the Japanese release. Can't say I enjoyed Exit DS as much as the PSP games though.

Would be nice if there was something new though on show, and I'm pretty sure there will be.

That's Dragon Quest IV right?
Yep.

I think it's "re-mastered" because it's not just the SNES game emulated.
There are the touch screen features programed and the second screen addition (I don't know what it could be, just a map ?).
I hope the game is on the bottom screen, like FFIII DS.

I hope they add movimentation through the stylus, like FFIII has, I found it more comfortable than using the D-Pad..
From the screenshots, I believe they're putting the battle menu on the touch screen, again like FFIII.. So, they're probably giving us a map on the upper screen like FFIII

I hope the action ain't on the bottom screen, the top screen is much more clearer. It is remastered to suit the DS screen, sound etc but there will be an extra dungeon too.
