Apparently they tried, but the super Gameboy rendered colour in such a vastly different way to the 3DS they couldn't get it working- as it would essentially require a SNES emu running a super gb emu, running a gb rom. I can't remember where I read that though (I think it was ONM when the first vc games game out) I may have dreamt it....

Not true at all, lameboy (for nds) displays regular gameboy games (like pokemon red/blue) with super gameboy colours. All of teh super gameboy information is actually inside of the gameboy rom, in case you didn't know.

I knew that, just saying what I had heard! Lameboy has it's own issues, though the ability to double speed through dialogue and cutscenes you've seen a trillion time is well worth the risk of the occasional loss of a savestate. I use meboy for my gameboy games usually anyway

I only popped in to ask about 4 swords! I was sort of hoping they'd give us 2 weeks with our NES freebies first anyway, but I'm geting impatient....
ONM claimed SML2 and Metroid II were pencilled in for Nov-Dec sort of time, I hope they're sooner as the big N are already taking a lot of my money starting in November!

Pong, any idea if 4 swords has online or is it just local? All my 3DS friends are miles away and Zeldanet were purporting online play despite nobody else thinking it would happen.
I know it is unlikely for a freebie, but one can dream!

It seems like those who have Japanese Nintendo 3DS are able to download new 3D videos of the games shown in the recent Nintendo 3DS conference 2011 from the eShop. They are also able to download a software which was shown in the Bravely Default: Flying Fairy trailer (AR Preview software). I want a Japanese 3DS >_

Slight error noticed- 4 Swords comes out on Wednesday 28th, the other VC's come out Thursday the 29th....
I may be wrong though- I fully suspect EU users won't get 4 Swords til the Thursday

Fair enough, I forget the 'temp isn't full of the mindless drones that represent other 3DS owners that I know (u sed mario land 2 woz out and it isnt).
