If I burn an Xbox game to a blank dvd and then use dvd2xbox will that allow the game to be copied to the internal drive? I'm just not sure if dvd2xbox can only handle official discs. Also before anyone asks I would prefer using dvd2box, and not FTP, as I have a tough time figuring out how to use FTP. Thanks.

What's there to not understand about FTP?

Just type the Xbox's IP into the server adress of FileZilla and use port 21 as the port.
Username and Password are both "xbox"

Burning games to a disc just to rip them is a waste of time and your DVD's really.

For whatever reason FTP transfer causes errors with whatever programs I use. The only extra time I would be using is to burn the disc and transfer via dvd2xbox. It really wouldn't take much extra time. I just want to know if dvd2xbox can read burned discs.

Odd, do you use a laptop?
If so then you can bridge the LAN and Wifi card together.
That should eliminate any errors.

And iirc, DVD2Xbox does read burned DVD's
That is if your DVD drive is still in a good condition.

Are you sure about DVD2Xbox being able to read burned discs? I really don't mind taking the extra time to burn if it does. And I believe the disc drive is in good shape, so that won't be an issue.

I tried it once on a few DVD's I got gifted from a mate of mine and they worked without a hitch.
Ofcourse it depends on your DVD drive itself, it won't read legit games if it's laser is bad.
