Gaming DVD Drive wont eject

Got a new 360 from my friend. The 360 works and reads games but when you eject, it doesn't want to eject. It gets stuck. But if you have a game in it, it will eject just fine. Anyone know how I can fix this?

What drive?, if it's a samsung then the belt is probably worn, replace it and it should be fine.

If its a samsung its the belt. Put the belt in a cup of water and warm it up, it will make the belt tight again.

Ok so...how do I go about taking it out? The disk tray is in the way...can I just replace it with the one in my lite-on?

manually eject the tray by opening it or take off the top cover and get a small screw driver and manually turn the gear that connects to the band.
when you have the tray ejected you will be able to take off the band easily.

Ok, I did it. I put the belt in warm water and now it opes and closes correctly! Thanks for the help guys.
