In world 1-8 I can use only one duyu. Is this a bug? I don`t think that it is possible to solve thel level with 1 duyu. The level selection menu says that 7 duyus are recommend.

edit: OK. I realized that I have to save duyus in the levels before.

the loading times are really long and santa as main character is stupid

Very good game, I really liked the beta version and the final version is just great.

You should try to publish it in android or iOS as jing90 said.

it's a .nds file.

I don't really see how people can compare this to mario. The only thing alike it's that it's a platformer.
I felt more resemblance to scribblenauts.

They're comparing it to mario vs donkey kong: mini land mayhem, because it follows the same pattern -- use the stylus to draw blocks on the level so that you can complete it. It really is very similar.

Everything about this game is great, it screams of commercial quality.
My only problem (which may be my card) is that it takes quite a few seconds to transition between screens.

Honestly, this looks way too similar to MvDK (The second one and its sequels that is). The art style, some of the art itself, gameplay, etc. It's definitely a great looking game, but it seems too much like a rip off of MvDK.

Looks promising, sadly the game crashed after clearing the first level when I tried this on my Supercard DSTwo.
Maybe that's just the flashcart itself, I could always try my Wood R4 setup.

Hey, thank you all for the feedback.

By the way may I ask what did you used to make it? Devkitpro with some libraries or official kit?
I used Devkitpro + PAlib.

I do wonder if a source will be released, though.
Nope sorry.

The game freezes after the end of each level with my Supercard DSTWO !!!
Me too freeze when i end a level on Supercard DSTWO. Please Help

Run the game from hbmenu that is bundled with the game.
I have a Supercard DSTWO too and I play it with the hbmenu.

Doesn't work in Sudokuhax.

:(
Sorry, I can't do much :(

It's too mario like and Nintendo didn't like that....it's awesome work though!
Nintendo has nothing to do with the game published or not. Without being a company you can't do business with them.

Tested, and... it is a great game!! though i think that it was to similar to mario to be published, the ui is the same, the backgrounds too, even the characters look like mario's :s
@Cuesta Why not change the sprites, background and music. Then see if a publisher will speak to you.
looks like an excellent well polished game. I would suggest creating an original character instead of Santa, that may be the thing you need to get this published.

First thing I wanna say: Duyumania is not a rip, it's 100% writed with our material, and we worked hard to avoid look amateurish.
I'm gonna show you some so you can see the work:

(in spoiler cause they are really long images)

Of course the graphic style try to look like a Nintendo game, they have the best looking 2d games, but say it's a rip it's like say that Zelda Wind Waker it's a rip of Jet Set Radio, or like say Counter Strike and Metroid Prime have the same gameplay :/ You have to play Duyumania to really acknowledge this tho.

And on top of that, has nothing to do with the publishers debacle. To summarize to you, last year, we had verbal agreement with one company and we waited literally half year for them cause they were busy with their own games, to finally when they were free back down from the deal.
I'm not gonna bitch them cause shit happens but I'm gonna exhibit our last company contacted: electronjump

These made me wait from november to january with the writed promise that they like the game and their gonna publish it but in that moment, of course, they were busy with their own games, I don't know what games looking at their website electronjump.com but ok. So last month I contact them again and they ask me for money in advance to pay PEGI, ESRB, IIRC and more, more than a thousand of dollars. Now, me having negociated with companies all that time I can smell rat from a mile, so I ask first for a contract to stipulate all the stuff. What happens next is that I didn't have more news of them and they never return my mails again, you can call that bold move like you want...

And I have to add that being negotiating with a company, exchanging mails and stuff, and at one point they don't answer back it's a very popular way within the videogames developers to say they have no more interest in your stuff xd

Actually the idea was to make an updated Solomon's Key.

Yeah I know, but I can't do much in this, several assets load using nitrofs due the limits of homebrew kits.
