Hello everyone!
I've been trying, with the help of a friend, to extract the font files from Yoshi's New Island with the purpose of vectorializing them and turning them into a Windows font I could use.
However, despite trying to extract the game files with multiple methods (including Every File Explorer), we got no results. It seems as if the game data are encrypted differently.
Can anyone help me with this, please?

You can just download the unencrypted CIA from the ISO-site, and extract the RomFS with ctrtool / 3dstool
Code:
ctrtool --contents=contents yoshi.cia
3dstool -xvtf cxi contents.0000.* --romfs RomFS.bin
3dstool -xvtf romfs RomFS.bin --romfs-dir ExtractedRomFS

Thats's OK, we got a Font folder. Inside were several files with extension *.bffnt.z . For example: Catchup.bffnt.z
I figured I could extract those with Switch-Toolbox, but it doesn't work.

So I tried Obsidian's 3DS tools. But I get an error as in the attached image.
Anyone know what it is?
