I believe these are the first screens we've gotten that actually show us what the Duke Nukem Trilogy will look like on DS. It's hard to actually judge the perspective. It looks like the graphics are 3D, but the game is mostly sidescrolling. And then, the boss fights look like they might be 3rd person 3D. Not sure. Anyways, enjoy:

This game is set to release sometime this year in who knows when. Duke Nukem DS... Not sure what to think at the moment. Hope we get some videos soon as the gameplay confuses me as to whether it's 2d or 3d. Perhaps different levels will have different perspectives.

That looks horrible. It also confirmed that the DS entry will be rated Teen and the PSP version Mature.

I'm inclined to agree. I'll wait until more media and videos come out to REALLY judge the graphics, but for now, it looks like a first gen PS1 or Saturn game. I really don't know what to think about the actual game yet, but I hope they did a better job on the gameplay than the graphics.

IMO, this is just some little way of (badly) teasing people on Duke Nukem Forever. It's like them saying "Oh, you want DNF? Well TOUGH! Take this stale candy and wait until the end of time for a REAL game!"

They spent 10 years for THIS? HOW MUCH MONEY DID THEY SPEND?

Just joking of course. But really, that doesn't look very impressive. The trailer of it sure was though. [IMG]

I don't think it looks bad.. it's a DS game after all, I have to see it in movement to judge it really.. most 3D games on the DS look better in action.

I want to know how they are funding these projects. Apart from Duke Nukem, what else to they make?

Not so bad but still not reaching average graphics and also looks nice in terms of it's mentioning of release as DNF - did not finish

Yeah, screens really do look awful...And this is coming from someone who really doesn't give a damn about graphics..
I'm hoping it'll look better in motion, and that it'll have DN humor....

I don't understand, do the Duke Nukem devs just sit around all day and occasionally feel like doing a bit of work. Maybe they browse the internet, laughing at those hopefuls for Duke Nukem Forever...

A port of the old Duke Nukem 3D would've been ten thousand times better than this.
