i just wanted to know if the old nes duck hunt VC game used the wii zapper. i couldnt get the zapper to work on the nes emulator FCE. anybody know?

I can't vouch for the VC inject, but it is doable with FCE Ultra GX. Make sure under controller configuration menu make sure you configure it to use a light gun for controller 2. In the NES days you had to have the light gun plugged into controller port 2 and a normal controller in port 1 for navigational purposes.

There is also a homebrew port with wiimote support. You can get it at wiibrew or through the homebrew browser.

When will people learn to distinguish between a "port" and a "remake"?!

Generally, if you don't have the source code of the original game, it's a remake. And even if you do have the source code, it might not be that portable.

So, Duck Hunt, and Rick Dangerous Wii, and more are Wii REMAKES.

duck hunt is better enjoyed on fceultra. the newest version has zapper support. just dont forget that the zapper is "plugged" into controller port 2.
