I'm using WiiFlow but not all games load when set to auto IOS. Do you have to set each game individually?

I don't know how any of the major usb loader implement automatic CIOS selection (and never use that feature), [when I had a working Wii] I simply use d2x base 57 (the current recommendation), and except for Animal Crossing (which benefits from a base 38 for USB accessories) it works for anything I care about

Failing that, it would be smart to try a CIOS based on the same IOS the game officially uses (which is the case in the above example) if it exists, else try all of them and accept no CIOS is 100% compatible (never mind 100% accurate)!

I copied 6 games to test. If I set them to automatic in the settings then each game to auto then thye work. I there a way to globally set them to default to auto?

With an appropriate homebrew - I think the recommended one is "Syscheck HDE edition" but I'm not very expert on that field

Just wanted to point out that USB Loader GX is the best USB loader and has been for close to eight years now. Use whatever you want of course, but I hate it when CUSB or Wiiflow fanboys come up here and spread falsehoods.

You can set it to "Auto" or to an cIOS like 249 or 250.
If an Game use another (very rare) then you can change it in the InGame Settings per Game.

Maybe my Explanation is unclear:

Start WiiFlow v5.4.4 please.
On the Main Game Screen choose the Configuration Icon please:


On the Settings Screen choose PAGE 2 please:



Chossse "Startup Settings - GO" please:



Under "Force cIOS Revision" choose AUTO (should work in most of the Cases) or set it to 249 (very high Chance that many Games work)



Leave the Settings/WiiFlow restarts.

That is all.
