I have just installed ubuntu, as you might know from my other question.
(thanks kwartel
, sorry for not saying thanks to your reply, even though it didn't help)
My computer starts like normal, press F1 to continue DEL for bios settings and stuff.
*presses F1*
And the keyboard lights (which tell me it's on) go out
Immediately at pressing F1
I get the os selection screen (ubuntu, with linux 2.6~~~~, Ubuntu, with linux 2.6~~~generic (recovery mode) memtest86+, memtest86+, serial console 115200
Windows xp professional.)
When I first normally booted ubuntu (as in, not with a live cd) I'd get those options, and after 10 seconds. Ubuntu boots.
But now, after rebooting. It doesn't start after 10 seconds.
All I get is the options.
Of course, that wouldn't be a problem.
BUT, my keyboard doesn't work here for no reason whatsoever.
I'm typing this with the keyboard I'm talking about, so yeah, it works.
I can also acces the BIOS on the other computer with this keyboard.
But, whenever I'd press F1 (to continue boot up) it suddenly stops working. Whenever I'd use a live cd, it auto boots, and the keyboard works again.
How, if possible, do I change the boot option to boot linux ubuntu in 10 seconds again. Or fix the problem with my keyboard?
I've got acces to the bios, and the ubuntu live cd os.
I can't get into the actually installed ubuntu nor windows.
(thanks kwartel
