I guess common sense gets thrown out the window when it comes to Nintendo... But hey, that's why there's WiiU.

99% of the sales of the DSTwoPlus will be attributed to the fact it has "SuperCard" in its name. Guaranteed.

lulz

Not really interested in it's 3DS capabilities, I'm not pirating 3DS and it's emulators are still not that great,
which is normal considering it isn't fully hacked yet.
For now this is just vaporware, there is nothing really conclusive that this really exists,
let's just wait and see.

Aw bum, had Xenoblade Chronicles on my 3DS and put it to sleep...opened it up and my 3DS wouldn't wake up. Had to shut it down by holding the power button down and have lost about 11 hours of gameplay. Oh well, will teach me not to play extended sessions without quitting so that the saves are written to the Gateway flashcart. :(

I have had this happen to me but a little different and happens everytime i try to reproduce the effect. it happens when using smea region three (for my official copy of DQM:TW3D) and if i put the game in sleep/standbymode and open the 3ds the next day it will continue to play like normal for like 10-15 minutes and then sooner or later it will freeze. and i will have to do a hard shutdown ( hold power button ) this is on SKY3DS...

also it only happens when i use smea region three... I have never had SKY3DS not wake up after opening it while in standby mode in game.

sorry to hear about your lost save. :/ always sucks having to redo something you already did not to mention you said 11HRS lost !!

I lost 8-13 hrs of Dream team bros because i thought save files stored on MSD in seperate file but not the case if you delete rom the gamesave goes with it. this was back when i first recieved my sky3ds and knew nothing about how it functions.

Every time someone brings up that fake ass feature list a troll laughs.......troll did good with that one

Tbh I don't think it matters if the card is real that this point they well and truly missed the boat, and releasing a clone card doesn't really win them much brownie points except with diehard dstwo fans.....living off past glories for the most part

Can't believe this topic was brought back up. No hardware, no video, no proof, no care.

Go to any DSTwo reseller. They've discontinued it and are now advertising the DSTwoPlus. I don't think this is a joke.

Whether it does what they say it will... well, we'll see.
What a reseller of flashcarts posts has no corralation with reality. They will post anything to make a buck. Even sell a preorder of a nonexistent product and then require 25% restocking fee if you want your money back.

Evidence: Wiikey U. Unscrupulous reseller: Modchipcentral.com

I am so glad I never ordered the wii u key, I am just hoping the up and coming exploit will lead to a backup loader int the next year or so

So at this point no one is expecting much form the DSTwoPlus.

Even though they advertise certain features, it's all just speculation. Even their own devs have acknowledged this.

What's worse is they're also suffering from the update issue. They haven't even released yet and will be uncompatible with most systems that don't already have Gateway installed.

But then they had retailers pull the old DSTwo?? Whaaaa??? If it's not broke...

At least make sales off your old hardware. Why pull it from the shelves? This confuses me. Although I'm sure r4i is lovin' it.

The fact they pulled the best ds flash cart on the market really scares me. I can only assume they sold the patent rights to a new developer who thought they could clone gateway and use the supercard name

I didn't order one either but several members here got screwed by that dodgy reseller.

Meh, there are not many good games coming out for the WII U in the future and I have been able to acquire a good 20 or so games fairly cheaply on the used market. With zelda U pushed back to 2016 or beyond there are only 2 or 3 for the rest of 2015 I am interested in.

I have a gamefly account that I rent one game at a time. I originally used it to rip xbox360 and ps3 games and now just use it to test out wii u games.

I am just worried that the new LOZ will be on new hardware because we all know Nintendo is sneaky like that. I have to say though that if it were not for the fact that the vwii is exploitable I would have been sooo pissed investing in that lost cause of a system

Aww, that would suck if true. Because I love my DSTwo... still play it. Actually stated using it more since I played NES Remix.

Man, there's something about the 3DS remakes of NES games that doesn't translate well. The controls are just... off. Especially SMB. I compared using my DSTwo and Sky3DS and SMB on NES emu is much "smoother" than any remakes on 3DS. How hard is it to port a NES ROM these days? Yeesh.

The DSTwo was a favorite of mine simply for the oldschool nostalgia. Although Pokefans would consider it a tool for BWI&II. But not much anymore since ORASXY.

It had so many customizable features and awesome tools. I was even excited about it working on the N3DSXL for ARCADE emulation, but that went south real fast...

It's like a death of an uncle. No one really cares, but he did some really kewl stuff that was just weird enough to impress. Now it's gone and no one wants that old Thunderbird POS it left behind. Makes me sad. If I could buy the thunderbird and revive its glory... but alas, I can't. So it's just rusting on the front lawn...

The fact they pulled the best ds flash cart on the market

A matter of opinion on your part of the best ds cart. There was only one cart that had DSi mode support, and it wasn't the SC DS2. I never even bought a super card ds two, that one was a little late to the market too. After all the Acekards, M3's, and cycloDS carts I bought, I didn't need another.

Huh? the dstwo works on every dsi and every 3ds / n3ds and had been the only card never to have been blocked

I said DSi mode, not DSi compatible. All my DSi compatible flashcarts still work on my DSi's and 3DS's. Yes, I still use my AK 2i on my 3DS, no super card needed here. Anybody that had one of those carts and got it blocked was their fault by updating.
